We had a great first day of school! Elsie the Owl was out front to greet students and the staff was so happy to see all of the smiling faces. I think it’s safe to say that Noecker is back! When I joined the district two years ago, I heard so many great things from all stakeholders about Noecker. I got a glimpse of it in the second half of last year and I’m excited to see what’s in store over the next few months. For our new families, welcome! I’m sure you will see for yourself what this great community is all about as the year unfolds.
Back to School Nights
Please be on the lookout for a separate email blast this evening regarding our Back to School Nights. We have an engaging evening planned and look forward to seeing you.
Start Strong Testing
The New Jersey Department of Education has mandated that all public schools administer the Start Strong assessments once again to all 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in ELA and Math (and Science for 6th grade only). These assessments are abbreviated versions of the NJSLA assessments that students take in the spring. Testing for grades 4 and 5 will be on September 19th. Grade 6 will have two days of testing, September 20th and 21st.

Social Skills & Peer Lunch Sign up: The Department of Special Services is seeking peer models for our social skills & peer lunch groups. Students in grades K through 6 are invited to be signed up and participate. Depending on the number of students signed up, students will be selected to participate on a rotating basis. Thank you!
