  A Note from Raul Sandoval, Principal

We hope you were able to connect with your child’s teacher during conferences this week.  As I mentioned previously it is so important to have a strong home-school connection.  It promotes positive relationships and models for our students the importance of community.  

Noecker School Climate Team Highlights!

As we approach mid-November, we also usher in the holiday season.  In our front hallway, we hope you noticed our bulletin board.  In the spirit of being thankful our school climate team has been hard at work helping to maintain our positive school climate:

   

We are continuing our focus on friendship (and friendship skills!)

• "Friendsgiving" Bulletin Board 4th grade groups created “friendship recipes,” 6th graders provided their top friendship advice and our 3rd graders made Gratitude jars!

• MANNERS TO GO  Curriculum begins in November!

• Bag A Lunch Help A Bunch - from TABLE to TABLE - This fundraiser and accompanying lessons will run from November 13th-30th

Winter Concert

Our Winter Concert is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13th! As the date approaches please be on the lookout for a separate email with more details.  In the meantime, please see below for the concert schedule: 

• K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Grades and 3rd Grade Strings at 9:30 am

• 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade at 1:30 pm

• Chorus, 5th/6th Grade Band, 4th /5th/6th Grade Orchestra at 6:30 pm

If you have any questions, concerns, or seek clarifications please do not hesitate to reach out to your case managers , and we will work to address them in a timely manner. 

Health Office 💗

A friendly reminder that Noecker requires that you should not send your child to school if they present with the following:

• Fever in the past 24 hours. Do not give “Tylenol” before school, in an attempt to “get through the day”. Must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

• Flu-like symptoms - Must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

• Vomiting and/or diarrhea in the past 24 hours - Must be illness-free for 24 hours before returning to school.

• Bad cold, with a very runny nose or sore throat with a bad cough, especially if it has kept the child awake at night or cannot participate in school.

• Unknown rashes- Must be seen by a physician to be identified and return to school only if the student is not contagious with a doctor’s note stating this with the diagnosis.

• Strep Throat- Must be on an antibiotic for 24 hours before returning to school.

• Conjunctivitis- Must be on prescription eye drops 24 hours before returning to school.
