A Note from Raul Sandoval, Principal

Although Thanksgiving is weeks away, this is the time of year where we begin conversations about gratitude.  It is not only an important value, but research suggests that being grateful has other benefits.  According to a recent Harvard Medical School article, “gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships” Over this short break, take a moment to converse with your child about the importance of gratitude.  In the coming weeks we will be participating in Table to Table.  Please see the message from our School Climate Team below!

Noecker will once again be participating in Table to Table's Food Rescue fundraiser .  This organization "rescues" food and delivers it to places like shelters and food banks for people in need.  This year, our goal is to raise For more information you can visit the Table to Table website .  Please also note the following:

Last Thursday, 6 candidates presented their passion projects to the school in our first virtual assembly. All the students did such a great job and we were so proud of their hard work and efforts! The student body voted after the presentations and have chosen the 3 passions we will focus on this school year: Good Sports, Give Kids the World, and Endangered Animals. Students in 5th and 6th grade are encouraged to join and participate in our meetings this school year. Please be on the lookout for a schedule of after school meetings to come! Thank you! -Miss Buccelli & Mrs. Chartoff

Happy November everyone! First, I want to thank everyone for their attendance and participation in our November Parent/Teacher conferences. If you have left your conferences with any lingering questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s case manager directly. We are available to support you. I also wanted to share the launch of our newly developed Parent/Administration Collaboration Site , which will serve as a central hub for posting information regarding upcoming events and will house a repository of resources. On the site, you will find access to a Google Form , where I invite you to submit ideas and suggestions for future events. Once I have a collection of submissions, we will be in touch regarding the scheduling of our series of events for the school year. Thank you - and enjoy the long weekend!
