A Note from Raul Sandoval, Principal

As technology continues to evolve, so do the safety concerns it presents for our students.  Noecker will be participating in a Family Cyber Safety Night on February 15, 2022 at 6:00 PM! You may join this free livestream via the following link: https://www.youtube.com/CSisElementary/live .  We also plan to host an assembly for students and parent night on cyber safety in the spring.  We’ve enlisted the services of an excellent presenter that I’m sure will be well-received.  Stay tuned for more!

Our first fundraiser for the year was such a success! The Noecker community generously donated a combined $703 to our Caring Officer, Declan's, passion project Give Kids the World in December! 

The students of Noecker Cares have been hard at work this month putting our next Spirit Week/Fundraiser together. Next week, February 14-February 18, will be centered around "showing love" for our Caring Officer, Joseph's, Passion Project: Endangered Animals. The fundraiser will help support the World Wildlife Fund. We are asking our Noecker families to once again consider donating to this great cause. The special link to donate is attached to the flyer but it will also be put here for your convenience: http://wwf.worldwildlife.org/goto/noeckercares - Our Noecker Cares committee members made flyers and posters to create awareness for endangered animals and hang in our school halls this week. At the end of next week, the school will vote on one animal to virtually adopt :)

P/AC Upcoming Workshop - Our next parent workshop is on the calendar for Monday, March 7th with a topic of Accommodations and Modifications - What are available to your children in school and at home?  Planning has begun, and in order to make the evening as engaging and meaningful as possible, we are asking that you complete the following pre-workshop survey ! Your questions will be used to guide the discussion and teacher presentations that are being put together for that evening. *A flier with registration information will be forthcoming. Thank you!*

Current Sixth Grade Families - In collaboration with the West Essex Child Study Team, case managers for current sixth grade families will be in touch to begin coordinating transition planning meetings for the move up to the middle school.
