March 11, 2026

Note from Raul Sandoval, Principal

As we begin to see signs of spring, it has been wonderful to enjoy the warmer weather and return to outdoor recess with our students. Fresh air and time outside always bring a renewed sense of energy to the school day! We also hope everyone remembered to spring forward this past weekend for Daylight Saving Time, while the adjustment can take a few days, the extra evening daylight is certainly something to lookA forward to.
This Friday, our 5th and 6th grade students will participate in a special presentation from exchange students through the AFS Intercultural Program. This is a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn about different cultures and perspectives from around the world. Thank you to our School Climate Team for organizing this experience, especially Señora Cruz and Mrs. Wallace for their leadership in bringing this program to our school.
We also want to remind families that Wednesday, March 18th is Unique Socks Day in recognition of Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Students are encouraged to wear fun, colorful, or mismatched socks to celebrate individuality and promote inclusion within our school community.
Finally, please note that Trimester 2 ends on March 18th.  Thank you for your continued support as we move into the final weeks of the trimester.
