As we head into the final days of the 2024-2025 school year, I wanted to wish all of our families a restful and relaxing summer. For our returning families we look forward to another great year of teaching and learning. And for our 6th graders, I wish them all the best in middle school. Noecker will always be their home away from home. I hope they join clubs and contribute to WEMS, and eventually WEHS, in any way they can. If they are fortunate enough to be selected for WE Lead or Senior Service, we hope to see them again.

Atlantic Health - Online Safety Webinar Series
Atlantic Health will be providing an Online Safety Webinar Series, designed to help parents better understand the impact of social media on youth and promote safe online practices. This important two-part series will be offered in both English and Spanish , with separate sessions for each language. All webinars will be recorded and made available to those who attend. The attached flyers include additional details about the sessions, including dates, topics, and registration links.

Health Reminder ❣️
We are seeing an uptick in the stomach virus. Please be sure to monitor your child for symptoms. If they are not feeling well, please keep them home, and they must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school. In addition, Noecker requires that you not send your child to school if they present with the following:

Fever in the past 24 hours. Do not give “Tylenol” before school, in an attempt to “get through the day”. Must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

Flu-like symptoms - Must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

Vomiting and/or diarrhea in the past 24 hours - Must be illness-free for 24 hours before returning to school.

Bad cold, with a very runny nose or sore throat with a bad cough, especially if it has kept the child awake at night or cannot participate in school.

Unknown rashes- Must be seen by a physician to be identified and return to school only if the student is not contagious with a doctor’s note stating this with the diagnosis.

Strep Throat- Must be on an antibiotic for 24 hours before returning to school.

Conjunctivitis- Must be on prescription eye drops 24 hours before returning to school.
School Lunch
We offer a cashless pay option for our school lunch through www.Payschoolscentral.com However, if you do not wish to use the online system, you may send in an envelope with cash or a check and it will be deposited here at school. If you have any questions please call the main office at extension 389.
Please also note that parents have the option to turn “on” and “off” the ability for their child to buy snacks on their www.payschoolscentral.com account. You can also view the Maschio’s flier by clicking here .

Helpful Links from the Department of Special Services
As this is the last Wednesday of the year, and subsequently my last Wednesday Notification here at Noecker, I wanted to just take a moment to once again thank everyone who has been a part of my time here. It has been nothing short of a positive experience here at Noecker over the last ten school years and I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to support your children and families as both a teacher and Director during that time. Enjoy the start to the summer, and I will see some of you during the first week of ESY.
