Note from Raul Sandoval, Principal
We had an exciting staff versus 6th Grade basketball game last week. The students surprised us with a few highlight reel shots, but the staff managed to pull it off once again to remain undefeated. Good luck next year to our rising 6th graders. And for our graduating students, it is another great Noecker memory. As we approach mid April, we have a Noecker Cares spirit week next week to welcome the much needed spring break! As always we are looking for 100 percent participation.
Noecker Cares
Our Caring Officer's dream is to allow the opportunity for every child that wants to play sports a "chance on the field" with the equipment they need to play. Please consider supporting him and the wonderful organization Good Sports by donating using our special fundraising page by clicking here . Thank you in advance for your consideration and support!

Autism Acceptance & Awareness Month - Many children with Autism Spectrum Disorder experience sensory challenges . There are two types of sensory challenges, and many kids have both. The most common type is oversensitivity . Kids get overwhelmed by the information that comes in through their senses. This is called sensory overload. And they try to avoid sensations that they can’t tolerate. The other type of sensory challenge is under sensitivity . With this type, kids don’t get enough input from the environment. So, they seek more sensory stimulation (Understood.org) This article provides a lot of very useful information regarding sensory seeking and sensory avoiding behaviors.
