Note from Raul Sandoval, Principal
Happy Earth Day! Our second-grade students celebrated with a wonderful Earth Day/Arbor Day presentation,
continuing a cherished tradition here at Lester C. Noecker School. The program was filled with music and
information that highlighted the importance of caring for our planet. We were proud to welcome second-grade
families, along with special guests including Board President Mrs. Scaraggi, Mayor Spango, Councilman Trillo,
Councilwoman Perrotti, and West Essex Board Member Deborah Sacco-Calderone. A special thank you to Mrs.
Petrarca, Mrs. Sessa, Mrs. Chartoff, Ms. Kovera, and Mr. Gavarny for their hard work in making this event so
meaningful for our students.

Noecker Super News
Some Super News from Art class! Mrs. Adragna entered a piece of art created by Elizabeth from Mrs. Smith's class
to the AENJ (Art Educators of NJ) Youth Art Month show that was shown at the Martin Luther King Justice Building
in Newark this past month. They judged the artwork and were only able to select a certain amount of pieces and
she made it! She went with her mother and received an " Essex County Executive 2026 Student Artist Award.”
Congratulations to Elizabeth!
