A Note from Raul Sandoval, Principal
As we head into spring break we want to wish all Noecker families continued health. We hope that you get to spend some quality time with your children and loved ones. Things are definitely getting back to normal! Also, If you haven't already done so, please see Dr. Brockel’s email regarding the last day of school!

A Note from Dr. Richard Celebre, Director of Special Services
Happy Wednesday. We are very close to Spring Break, but before we get there, I wanted to share the following updates from the Department of Special Services. Our Autism Acceptance and Awareness Month activities have been on-going, and this week students have been participating in read alouds, follow up activities, and discussions which focus on the overarching theme for the year: Spot the Difference, Love the Difference.
Parent/Administration Collaboration Parent Workshop - We are excited to announce that we are currently working with the West Essex Department of Special Services to coordinate a final parent workshop for the 2021-2022 school year. This final workshop will be focused on transitioning students to the middle school, and we are hoping to include all of the sending districts. Additional information will be forthcoming!
Current Sixth Grade Families - In collaboration with the West Essex Child Study Team, case managers for current sixth grade families will be in touch to continue coordinating transition planning meetings for the move up to the middle school.
Extended School Year - Case managers are beginning the process of recommending students for the Extended School Year (ESY) program within the context of an IEP meeting. If you have questions, do not hesitate to reach out to them directly. Eligibility is determined annually, based on the individual student’s progress and need. If your child is eligible, an email with class and schedule information will be forthcoming later in the year as we are just getting the planning underway. The program details mirror the Summer Enrichment Program, and will run Monday-Thursday from July 6, 2022 - July 28, 2022 (no program on Fridays).
