New Student Registration
Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open.
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open for all grades. All registrations will be done via our online registration portal.
Welcome to the Roseland School District! We are pleased to welcome you to our online registration process. We understand that this is a monumental time in a child’s life and we eagerly welcome our future Kindergarten to Grade 6 students to our District.
First Steps
- Only a parent/legal guardian domiciled in Roseland may register a new student .
- Children must be 5 years old on or before October 1st of the current year to enter Kindergarten, or 6 years old by October 1st of the current year to enter 1st grade
- If your child currently attends the Roseland Public School Pre-School program you do NOT have to complete the Online Registration. Please contact Robi Dallow at rdallow@roselandnjboe.org for registration instructions.
- PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS before starting the online pre-registration process.
Required Documents
The following outlines everything needed to successfully register your student in the Roseland Public School District.
Before you begin, please download and complete the following forms. You will be required to upload these completed documents during the online pre-registration process.
- Required Medical Forms
- Homeowner/Renter Certificate of Residency ( notarized original form must be returned to school )
- Registration Forms
- Home Language Survey
- Kindergarten Parent Survey *Kindergarten registrations only.
- Kindergarten Dental Form *Kindergarten registrations only
Next, please download and review our new student registration checklist . This checklist contains state required documentation that you will need to upload during the online pre-registration process.
Once you have gathered all of the required documents, please review the following information before continuing to our online pre-registration system:
- During the final step of the registration process, you will be asked to create a pre-registration user account (not to be confused with an existing Genesis Parent Access portal account). Please keep your login information in a safe place.
- Please make sure to print the pre-registration confirmation page before logging out of the system.
- If you experience any technical difficulties logging into or using the Online Pre-Registration System, please contact Mrs. Dallow at rdallow@roselandnjboe.org.
