Below please find a summary of the key highlights from our July Board of Education meeting:

• Mr Rutzky reviewed a summary of our HIB self-assessment, scoring 73 out of 75 possible points
• Mr Bellino reported the state reduced our SDA assessment by $14k
• Mr Bellino reviewed our long-range facility plan
• The Board approved:
  • Vincent Occhino as new Interim Business Administrator
  • Resignations of Marie Campanile and Brenda Bogdan
  • Accepted extraordinary aide of $29.3k
• Mr Mastrangelo indicated that Governor Christie vetoed Senate Bill 2163 and 968
• The Board, Mr. Rutzky and Mrs. Dacosta thanked Mr. Bellino for his service, as Interim roles can be filled for no longer than two years
• The next Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 22 at 7:30pm in the Noecker Media Center
• The first hour of the August meeting will be allotted to Board and District goal planning for the coming year.
